Journal of Applied Rehabilitation CounselingThe Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling (JARC) is the official publication of the National Rehabilitation Counseling Association (NRCA). JARC is published quarterly: Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. JARC is a journal of thoughtful reflection on best practices concerning clinical issues, evidenced-based practices, emerging issues, and research including literature reviews of topics fundamental to best practices focusing on people with disabilities. JARC addresses the needs of rehabilitation practitioners employed in a wide variety of work settings and with wide-ranging professional interests. Manuscripts of direct practical value to rehabilitation counselors are particularly encouraged. Also welcome are reader comments, book and media reviews, and editorials of significant interest to members of the Association. SUBMITTING A MANUSCRIPT Online submission is required. All authors should submit their manuscript online using Editorial Manager The enhanced, electronic process provided by Springer Publishing will greatly enhance the speed and convenience of submitting articles for review. Springer Publishing is in the process of converting all previous issues of JARC to electronic format. Full electronic access to these journals is expected to be completed in the coming months. Under the dynamic leadership of Bruce Reed, co-editor, JARC is re-organizing and re-invigorating the Editorial Board to respond to reaching a larger, more diverse readership and broader range of contributors.
