NRCA Membership
NRCA membership is open to those practitioners, educators, students, and researchers who share NRCA commitment to understanding the lived experience of disability in one's life, the significance of the environment in stifling one's integration into the mainstream of life and the individual, interpersonal, and societal levels of challenge that individuals must traverse in attaining fulfilling lives of their own design.

Professional MemberThis level of membership is open to all rehabilitation professionals, including practitioners, researchers, and educators. We welcome professionals from all academic disciplines and from all international communities. NRCA membership is especially appropriate for those who are interested in optimizing the physical, social, and economic inclusion of people with disabilities throughout the lifespan. Membership at this level includes all the benefits of membership, including discounted registration at all NRCA sponsored training events, including conferences, symposium, webinars, and workshops. In addition, professional members are entitled to unlimited online access to the Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling, from 1970 through the present, as well as hard copies of JARC during their time of membership. |

Early Career Professional Member
Realizing that the first few years after completing a degree finds people a bit cash-strapped, NRCA offers discounted membership for the first two years following graduation from a professional training program. NRCA membership is especially appropriate for those who are interested in optimizing the physical, social, and economic inclusion of people with disabilities throughout the lifespan. During these years, we are offering all the benefits of membership, such as reduced registration fees for trainings, webinars, and workshops. Hard copies of the Journal of Applied Rehabilitation Counseling are provided as they are published, as well as unlimited online access to all past JARC editions Early Career Professionals are also entitled to vote in elections and may be elected to serve on the NRCA Board. Membership dues for first two years following degree completion is $75.00 per year. |
